How to Wrap Your Hands

Wrapping the hands is an essential part of a boxer's training routine. Properly wrapping the hands provides a number of benefits that can help a boxer perform at their best in the ring.

First and foremost, hand wraps help protect the hands and wrists from injury. The bones in the hands and wrists are fragile and can easily be broken or fractured during training or a fight, especially when throwing punches with full force. Hand wraps provide support and stability to the bones in the hands and wrists, helping to prevent injury.

In addition to injury prevention, hand wraps can also help a boxer throw punches with more power and force. By providing support to the bones in the hands, hand wraps can allow a boxer to transfer more power from their body into their punches.

Finally, hand wraps can also help a boxer grip their gloves more securely, which can be especially important when throwing hooks and uppercuts.
