Combo Collection: 100 Iconic Boxing Combinations from Ali to Mayweather

A common problem in recreational boxing is when people stop learning and simply ‘go through the motions’. A great way to take your skills to the next level is to name specific combinations after boxers. This way the name of the boxer may work as a cue for specific combinations, just like ‘jab’, ‘cross’ and ‘hook’ are cues for specific techniques.

The purpose of this post is to give boxers and coaches a reference to a diversity of techniques and combinations as applied by professional boxers. It is the first reference of its kind that I am aware of, and hope that it helps others develop their knowledge, skills and enjoyment of boxing training.
